This content must be provided, as and when requested, in a prompt and timely manner to avoid disruption to the estimated timescales for project completion.

Website placeholders for website content will be labelled with insertion reference numbers and a Microsoft Word document will be provided to The Client for entry of the content against those reference identifiers.

Project Process & Payment Terms

The project process and payment terms for our fixed-fee packages (Starter & Advanced) are as follows. The Premium package, due to complexity, will vary and will be documented in the project quotation.

Fee payments are required at three milestone points and defined as a percentage of the overall project cost, as detailed in the quotation.

  • Initial Consultation. Ideally this will be an in person meeting and usually takes approximately one hour. This meeting will cover everything we require for the purpose of generating a quotation, or confirming that your expectations fall within the fixed price fee.

  • Quotation Delivery. Your quote will be delivered via email and detail our understanding from the initial consultation, usually within 24-48 hours of consultation. The quotation will typically be the fixed price fee as detailed on the package pricing structure, deviations or requests for additional functionality may alter the fixed price.

  • Order Confirmation. On acceptance of the quotation The Client will, in writing, confirm desire to proceed and will pay 50% of the quoted fee to cover project startup costs, domain name registration, initial site layout design (including all graphic, photo and text placeholders) and bespoke logo creation (where required).

  • Content Provision. Following delivery of website foundation (typically 3-4 business days), The Client will provide all content required to fill the placeholders. This will be done electronically and will require The Client to complete the Content Provision document using Microsoft Word. If for any reason The Client is not comfortable with or does not have access to the tools required to complete the document, this can be completed during an in-person meeting, chargeable at £45.00/hour.

  • Website Finalisation. The Content Provision document will be used to populate the original website structure and further 25% of the total fee will be required prior to commencement of this process.

  • Project Delivery. Following full and final payment of the balance (the final 25%), the website will go live and be accessible by your customers. We will meet in person, usually for circa one hour and you will be provided with the hosting account details,  email login credentials and  your business cards. If required, your email client can also be configured with the new email addresses at this point.

At the end of the project delivery meeting you will be required to sign-off the project as complete and delivered.
