Crazy Cheeks
Crazy Cheeks is a Calne based face art company covering all parts of Wiltshire, catering for both kids parties and adult celebrations.
Prior to the rebrand.me makeover, they were struggling with brand recognition and were failing to gain any traction in a surprisingly saturated marketplace.
Within just six short months following their business spa retreat at rebrand.me they had established themselves as the most recognisable company in the area.
When Crazy Cheeks approached us, they had no online presence at all, no website, not even a logo. They were extremely good at what they did but were massively struggling to capture a customer base.
Getting their site to the top of Google searches was of paramount importance, they wanted anyone searching for a face painter in Calne, Melksham, Devizes or even Wiltshire in general to always end up seeing their website at the top of the search results.

A digital portfolio is important for every small business but for a face painter, it is critical that it shows your talents, it must be clean and visually engaging. Crazy Cheeks wanted their portfolio to be unique as an interface, no square pictures and the ability to zoom in on every image without launching new browser windows. The logo design was guided by them, they wanted a metallic look with specific shades of blues and pinks with interlocking words and bizarrely some metallic butterflies! Well, we like a challenge here at rebrand.me, click on the logo for a larger image to see the detail!
Following the above digital online presence creation, we moved onto what we could do to make sure that their brand was immediately recognisable when they were out and about at public events.
A large proportion of their business is contracted private events like parties and weddings, however the bigger revenue opportunities come from public events such as family days out venues.
As a face painter at these events you must be instantly memorable to people and you have to stand out from other stalls and traders with high impact brand recognition. Essentially there is no better business than kids recognising your presence from a distance and nagging the parents for a face paint!
We worked with Crazy Cheeks to give them exactly that boost, designing a screen-printed waterproof gazebo and matching popup table and A-Boards! Additionally we provided them with varying items of branded clothing to cover all seasons, from shirts to fleeces and even heated jackets for the colder months.
We also provided business stationery & merchandise... notepads, business cards, thermal flasks... Even magnetic branding for their vehicles!
